The Northern California Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists is here! This organization was created to give the hypnotists and hypnotherapists of northern California a professional organization and community for the exchange of ideas and experiences of one of the fastest growing professions in the world.

Mission Statement

The Northern California Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists consists of professional individuals who have been Certified in Hypnosis with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), located in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

The Chapter consists of NGH Hypnotists who live within a 50 mile radius of the San Francisco Bay Area. The monthly chapter meetings are held in Berkeley. Guests are invited to attend two meetings, after which they need to become a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists to continue participating in Chapter activities.

The Northern California Chapter of NGH is committed to upholding the codes and ethics as put forth by the NGH, to be a supporting body to the NGH on the West Coast, while creating a place for certified hypnotists in this area to share ideas to increase personal knowledge and understanding within the field of hypnosis.

It is also our goal to help expand public awareness and knowledge of hypnosis; to inform, through education and demonstration, the healing values of hypnosis to create positive, healthy changes in one's life, and to help the field of hypnosis be recognized as a separate and distinct profession.

The Northern California Chapter of the NGH is a not-for-profit organization, while the individual members practice hypnosis as their part time or full time vocational occupation.
