ISHI - My Vision & Purpose

I was asked by the director of education to write down my vision for the purpose of ISHI. It was a good idea and I immediately responded by writing what you are now reading. First, let me say that the acronym ISHI, didn’t happen by accident. There are no accidents in the universe. All happens, as it needs to happen, for the purpose of awakening us. Awakening us to the Truth with a capital “T.”

ISHI came about because it was apparent that nearly all those trained in the hypnotherapy profession were negating the spiritual reality of the psychic power they were calling hypnosis.

Metaphysical study was offered by some of the schools. Spirit release was offered by several others. But, in truth, these offerings were minuscule. As far as I was concerned they were negligent in their duty to present a well rounded education. And anything less in my book is a misguided education. Teaching the subject of hypnosis, like anything else, requires a sure foundation grounded upon sacred principle and demonstrated as a bona fide working science.

Metaphysical teaching was somewhat included in their study, but rather than put it up front in the foreground of the teaching, the professionals kept the spiritual aspect of hypnosis in the background, on purpose. In other words, it was there for those that believed in that sort of thing. But, spirituality was treated as though it wasn’t all that important. It was looked at as though it was a “California flaky air-ware thing.” I believe they did it because they were, as well as they are, trying to sell hypnotherapy as a profession to the politicians. In fact, I have heard the spiritual aspect of hypnosis referred to as the “fruit and nuts”, when in fact, spirituality - is the “nuts and bolts.”
I need to say right here that I am wholeheartedly opposed to the establishment of a hypnotherapy profession. And the reason I am, is the same reason I am opposed to Judges and River boat Captains having the legal right to marry people. It goes against my religious beliefs.

Even though it isn’t written in stone, it is inferred by the politicians and judicial body that a “wall of separation” does exist between Church and State. Think about this now. If the Priest isn’t allowed to involve himself in the workings of politics, the State should not involve itself with the workings of Religion. Especially, when it comes to the subject of hypnosis. Yet, it does.

Hypnosis is a word that comes from the Greek, Hypnos, who in mythology was the god of sleep, and also identified with the Roman Somnus. Hypnotism was practiced daily by the High Priests in Atlantis and the sacred Sleep Temples of Egypt.

The Almighty by the way, was the first hypnotist. The psychic power of hypnosis was utilized when putting Adam to sleep (in trance). That in itself should open the eyes of those that think they can license spirit by legalizing it and still keep it moral. That’s like whittling down the tree until you have a toothpick and wonder what happened to the tree . . . “you took what was alive and made it into something dead.”

Religion came to naught when the spirit was hampered by the religious leaders. The same thing is inclined to happen with hypnotherapy once the self serving professionals and politicians get their way. The psychic power of hypnosis was lost for countless centuries because of those that couldn’t leave well enough alone.

It is an immoral activity licensing that which belongs to the spirituality of religion. It is meddling with Divine Providence. In fact, it is unconstitutional. It is against the moral law of the universe and the legal law of the land. The U.S. Congress has outlawed interference with the practice of religion. And we need to remain law abiding citizens.

Utilizing hypnosis is a spiritual (holy) activity, and it is clear history will attest to the fact that the practices of the ancient High Priest knew more about the workings of its psychic power than any modern man. These clergymen were sages with discerning power that knew well, lasting results in healing would never happen, as long as you were working from flesh to spirit. This is why hypnosis is often a “hit and miss” operation for those who try and work this ancient healing science from a humanistic viewpoint.

One must sincerely station his wholesome perspective in the spiritual plane for effective use of the psychic power (of hypnosis), for permanent healing. And the reason for this truth is simple and the wise employ its importance. He desires the client to match his vibration for well being.

Man is a metaphysical human being even though he is embodied within the physical homo sapien animal. All healing stems from awakening to who you are, and what you are going to do in consciousness to maintain your well being of prosperity on a financial, mental, spiritual and physical level of reality forevermore. By the time the self serving professionals influence the self serving politicians, this ancient science will more than likely lose its spiritual value because of human ignorance. And I believe that is despicable.

After saying all that, I am here to tell you that I knew fighting the inevitable would be losing an uphill battle. The “professionals” want a “hypnotherapy profession” and the unions are involved in the process, therefore, it is inescapable that common sense will become discarded.

We are certainly living in times that try mens souls. So, with that in mind, I decided to fight in a different way. A way where everyone can win. A “win-win” situation for one and for all. And now you have it, “The Way of ISHI”, the place where the salvation of the soul memory of people shall not become forgotten; and in that light the true value of this ancient spiritual healing science (the psychic power known as hypnosis) and its proper application would cause the mind to keep the body well; and ourselves, in the light of the truth for well being.

We try as much as possible to remain informal at ISHI while presenting the formal education you will need in the modern world to resolve the problems of the modern era.

You can study at ISHI and gain in more ways than not.

You have the best of both worlds. There is the basic course that teaches you the profession of hypnotherapy from the viewpoint of the National Guild of Hypnotist. And, of course, there is what I call the “nuts and bolts” to make it work better than ever. The name ISHI is the acronym for the International Spiritual Hypnotherapy Institute. The key word is spiritual.

Spirituality is in the foreground at ISHI because we essentially work with the vital life force energy of the client. We resolve the problem of disease by unblocking the flow in the physical body. Then, of course, you have a happy person because they are liberated on a spiritual, mental and physical level. I believe it is proper to cover all bases when it comes to humanity. After all, at core reality, we are each other, aren’t we?

There is only one humanity, isn’t there?

Nothing feels better than taking care of your own. Not so much in supporting the way you would like for people to be, to please you; but in how people may please themselves, so you can experience being pleased with yourself; this is integrity. Such an activity is a pure pleasure that endures for eternity because it is grounded upon the fundamental principle of human decency.
